Supporting antibody therapeutics
A mid-sized private Canadian pharma company was developing antibody therapeutics and needed a partner to focus on novel preclinical stage antibodies for cancer and fibrosis treatment. A far-reaching search would be required to find the right match.
We conducted a global search through channels that included literature, databases of grants and patents; tech transfer offices, academic societies and therapeutic area focus groups.
We contacted academics, biotech startups and existing companies with novel or fast-follower preclinical stage antibodies in the pipeline. We also tracked down less publicized early stage opportunities.
In addition to desk research, we attended numerous local and international networking and partnering events to scout for opportunities on behalf of the client.
