A radiopharmaceuticals CDMO with activities in a range of therapeutic and diagnostic compounds including development-stage and commercial products asked Alacrita to assess the landscape and project future demand and the competitive dynamics in the field.
Solution
Over recent years, Alacrita has conducted several assignments in the radiopharma space and was well-placed to conduct this assessment in a short timeframe. Building on our internal databases and knowledge, as well as proprietary sources such as MedRays, we assessed all known radiopharmaceutical products on the market and in the development pipeline and profiled the universe of product originators, CDMOs and other players in the field. We produced forecasts of demand under various scenarios, catering for the multiplicity of products aimed at the same biological target which is a hallmark of this field, and attempted to assess future supply/demand balance. Our final report was placed in the client's VDR and used to support a fundraising exercise.
