Alacrita is pleased to announce the promotion of Saadia Basharat, PhD, to Head of West Coast Consulting.
In an effort to better serve our growing client base in the western United States and Asia, she will provide support to clients from San Diego, California. Saadia has been a key member of the Alacrita team for over 8 years, working with biotechs both in the US and Europe.
Saadia supports biotech and pharma companies at critical growth junctures. Areas she advises in include program prioritization and go/no go decisions, disease area and indication prioritization, partnering strategy.
Her experience includes technical and commercial assessment/due diligence of therapeutics, out-licensing, technology scouting/in-licensing, asset valuations, therapeutic area strategy and product development strategy.
Saadia holds an Honours degree in Biomedical Informatics, a Master of Science degree in Molecular Medicine and a PhD in Medicine from Imperial College.
