Solution
The university did not have a critical mass of research activities to justify a full technology transfer office, so Alacrita recommended a low overhead, semi-virtual operation that was dynamic, fit for purpose and scalable.
We also gave guidance to a development stage spin-out biotech company that was dissatisfied with its existing IP service provider. We identified a number of areas where the existing provider was falling short. Following our input, the client transferred its entire IP portfolio management to a new service provider.
